Mallow Early Learning

Our commitment to child safety.

Every child, always in sight.

Every child has the right to feel safe, be heard and be treated with dignity. Mallow has zero tolerance for child abuse and harm. We build safety into our people, rooms and routines, then act on every concern.

Our government rating

Meeting the National Quality Standard.

Assessed under the National Quality Framework (ACECQA).

How we keep children safe.

Multi-level supervision

Educators supervise each other as they supervise the children. There is always a second adult in line of sight.

No hidden or invisible spaces

Our centres are designed without concealed corners. Every space a child can be in is a space an educator can see.

Strict child-safety process and policy

Who checks what, when, and who signs it off. Nothing runs on memory.

Up-to-date government training

All staff complete the latest government-mandated child-safety training.

Our policies, in plain language.

The short version, for families. Read our public statement or ask a Centre Director for the complete operational policies.

Child Safe Standards

We meet Victoria's Child Safe Standards. Zero tolerance, no exceptions. Culturally safe rooms. Children who get heard. Families kept in the loop. And it's written down, not assumed.

Working with Children Checks

Every adult holds a verified Working with Children Check before they start. That means educators, contractors, students, volunteers, even regular visitors. We confirm identities, qualifications and at least two references, and monitor every clearance for as long as someone is with us.

Mandatory & reportable reporting

Our educators are mandated reporters, trained to act on any concern and report straight to DFFH Child Protection. Any allegation against a staff member triggers our Reportable Conduct process. The regulator is notified within days and everything is documented in full.
